Linda Candy is a warm and welcoming person who is easy to talk to, you will find her direct way of working quite refreshing. I would caution you, however, not to let her easy manner lull you into thinking that she is a 'slouch' as she is highly qualified in the field of childbirth and clinical hypnotherapy, having studied with the BST Foundation in London to attain their highest qualification; The Advance Certificate in Strategic and Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Being a mother of two children and having an interest in the psychological fears surrounding pregnancy and childbirth, Linda recognised early on that hypnotherapy was the very tool needed to help with all pregnancy and childbirth related issues and set about becoming an expert in this area. Her philosophy of; 'to become an expert you have to be trained by experts' lead her to train with some of the top professionals in this field. Experts such as Michel Odent (the world renowned obstetrician and author of many books about natural childbirth and primal health) personally trained her in the best doula techniques conducive to natural childbirth.
Believing that natural childbirth is the best possible way of bringing a new life into the world Linda decided to become a HypnoBirthing® practitioner using the Mongan method and studied their techniques with Jessica Porter. Jessica is one of HypnoBirthing's® top USA trainers and spends her time teaching HypnoBirthing® in America, Canada, South Africa as well as in England.
Linda was one of the very first and few therapists in the UK to have studied with Lydsi Eastburn, the creator of the HypnoBirthing Fertility® program, and is now a registered, practicing therapist helping many women to conceive.
She is also a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, registered as specialising in problems relating to women. As you have probably gathered by now that anyone contacting Linda can feel quite secure in the knowledge that they have contacted someone who is professional and very knowledgeable in all issues surrounding childbirth.
